100 Area Business Owners and CEOs Join in Support of Kids in Crisis

Norwalk, CT. [November 10, 2014]: The CEO Roundtable, an area business networking group comprised of 30 local CEOs, hosted its Ninth Annual Business Networking Event at Woodway Country Club in Darien late last month. Over 100 area business owners, presidents, and CEOs gathered to network and participate in a panel discussion led by Joe Connolly of WCBS 880. Panelists for the evening included FundingPost Founder, Joe Rubin, and Deloitte’s New York Managing Partner, Steve Gallucci.

The proceeds from the evening benefited local emergency children and family agency, Kids in Crisis (www.kidsincrisis.org). A check for $4,000.00 was presented to Director of Development, Corporate & Community Giving, Alon Marcom at the event.

“We are profoundly grateful for The CEO Roundtable’s generous donation to Kids in Crisis,” said Executive Director, Shari Shapiro. “This gift will provide critical support to our emergency shelter and crisis intervention programs. We thank The CEO Roundtable for helping us in our mission to protect every Fairfield County child in need.”

“We as a group get immense pleasure out of hosting such a unique event, paired with the opportunity to provide financial support to such a worthy cause like Kids in Crisis,” stated co-founder of The CEO Roundtable, David Lewis. “We’re thrilled to have secured such a solid outpouring from the local business community.”
